Embedded control unit design for energy management in smart homes

This paper deals with smart home energy management through load scheduling and optimal use of available sources. In this study, three sources were considered: the national electricity grid, photovoltaic (PV) energy, storage unit. The PV array can provide maximum power to at a given operating point where output changes temperature, radiation load. Therefore, real-time controller is proposed track power. An algorithm has been in achieve main goal making bill as low possible. involves loads by assigning priority each are supplied required according their priorities energy. obtained results indicate that supplying system fuzzy-based MPPT indicates an increase efficiency. also showed based on led significant reduction bill.
